Open Enrollment Courses
The BEST Complex Open Enrollment Course format is designed to offer training opportunities for customers that do not desire or cannot engage in the Company Sponsored training format.
The OE curriculum is designed to solve the fundamental problems faced by all firefighters. These courses can enhance or provide needed experience for Annual or quarterly mandated training.
The courses are developed in accordance with applicable regulations and best practices of the mainstream firefighting community. The curriculum is routinely updated and modernized, staying in step with the latest standards and practices.
OE courses are scheduled several times throughout the year according to a published schedule on the website, found under each course name or page. These training opportunities have student minimum numbers in order to make and vary according to the course. The purpose in providing OE courses is to capture the smaller numbers of people that may need training. Students taking OE courses will enjoy interfacing with students from other companies that are slated to receive the same training.
BEST Complex considers the experience of the student to be a high priority. Even the most seasoned veteran will find the training invigorating and challenging. It’s our goal that students walk away with new knowledge that will help them do their job efficiently and safely.
The prices for OE courses include lunch each day, fuel and expendables, and student manuals (if applicable).
Note: Due to the volatility of current fuel prices, course tuition is subject to change without notice.
